Best Way To Hang Frameless Mirror On Drywall

Hanging a frameless mirror without hooks or wire can be a daunting task. Mirror adhesive is the best way to hang a frameless mirror on drywall. It provides a strong bond that will keep your mirror securely in place for years to come. Here are the steps on how to hang a frameless mirror on drywall using mirror adhesive:

## Materials You'll Need
  • Frameless mirror
  • Mirror adhesive
  • Caulking gun
  • Tape measure
  • Level
  • Pencil
  • Clean cloths
## Step 1: Clean the Mirror and Wall

Before you start, it is important to clean both the mirror and the wall. This will help the adhesive to bond properly. Use a clean cloth and a mild detergent to clean the mirror and the wall. Rinse the surfaces with clean water and allow them to dry completely.

## Step 2: Measure and Mark the Hanging Location

Use a tape measure and a level to mark the location where you want to hang the mirror. Make sure the mirror is centered and level. Once you have marked the location, use a pencil to draw a small dot in the center of the mirror.

## Step 3: Apply the Mirror Adhesive

Apply a generous bead of mirror adhesive to the back of the mirror, around the perimeter. Make sure to apply the adhesive evenly and avoid getting any on the front of the mirror. Once you have applied the adhesive, carefully lift the mirror and place it on the wall, aligning the dot you drew earlier with the mark you made on the wall.

## Step 4: Press the Mirror into Place

Once the mirror is in place, press it firmly into the wall. You can use your hands or a rubber mallet to apply pressure. Make sure the mirror is fully seated against the wall.

## Step 5: Remove Excess Adhesive

Use a clean cloth to remove any excess adhesive that may have squeezed out from around the edges of the mirror. Be careful not to get any adhesive on the front of the mirror.

## Step 6: Support the Mirror While It Dries

The mirror adhesive will take several hours to dry completely. During this time, it is important to support the mirror so that it does not fall off the wall. You can do this by placing a few pieces of tape or cardboard around the edges of the mirror.

## Step 7: Remove the Support and Enjoy Your Mirror

Once the adhesive has dried completely, you can remove the support. Your frameless mirror is now securely hung on the wall and ready to enjoy.
