Preparing the Mirror

Attach D-ring hangers to the back of the mirror. D-rings are metal loops that allow you to hang the mirror on screws. Position them at equal distance from the edges of the mirror, ensuring they are level.

Marking the Wall

Measure the distance between the D-rings on the mirror. This measurement will determine the horizontal space between the screws on the wall. Transfer this measurement to the wall, marking two points with a pencil or pen.

Leveling the Screws

Use a level to ensure the two points marked on the wall are horizontally level. Leveling is crucial for hanging the mirror straight and preventing it from tilting.

Installing the Screws

If the wall is made of drywall, use wall anchors to reinforce the screws. Screw the anchors into the marked points on the wall until they're flush with the surface. Then, screw the screws into the anchors, leaving about 1/4 inch of the screw exposed.
