How to Build a Vanity Mirror with Lights

Materials:

A mirror
A piece of wood
Wood screws
A drill
A screwdriver
A light fixture
Electrical wire
Wire cutters
Wire strippers
A switch

Instructions:

Start by cutting the wood to the desired size of your vanity mirror. The wood should be wide enough to support the mirror and the light fixture, and it should be long enough to accommodate the number of lights you want to install.
Next, attach the mirror to the wood using wood screws. Be sure to center the mirror on the wood so that it is evenly supported.
Once the mirror is attached, it's time to install the light fixture. Decide where you want the lights to be placed and then drill pilot holes for the screws that will hold the light fixture in place.
Next, wire the light fixture to the electrical wire. Use wire cutters to cut the electrical wire to the desired length, and then use wire strippers to remove about 1/2 inch of insulation from the ends of the wires.
Connect the wires from the light fixture to the wires from the electrical wire. Be sure to match the colors of the wires (black to black, white to white, and green to green). Twist the wires together and then secure them with electrical tape.
Finally, install the switch in the electrical wire. The switch will allow you to turn the lights on and off. Once the switch is installed, plug the electrical wire into an outlet and test the lights.
