Step 1: Choose the Right Hanging Kit

Select a mirror hanging kit that is rated for the weight of your mirror. The kit should include anchors and screws specifically designed for plaster walls.

Step 2: Mark the Anchor Locations

Using a level, mark the desired location of the mirror on the wall. Measure and mark the center point of the mirror's top edge. Then, mark the anchor locations according to the template provided with the hanging kit.

Step 3: Drill Pilot Holes

Put on safety glasses and use a drill with a masonry bit to drill pilot holes for the anchors. The depth of the holes will depend on the length of the anchors.

Step 4: Insert the Anchors

Insert the anchors into the pilot holes and tap them in flush with the wall surface using a hammer or screwdriver.

Step 5: Drill Holes for Mirror Hangers

Measure and mark the locations for the mirror hangers on the back of the mirror. Use a drill with a wood bit to drill pilot holes for the hangers.

Step 6: Attach the Mirror Hangers
