How to Fix a Loose Side Mirror on a Car

Tools You'll Need

Phillips head screwdriver

Locate the screws that hold the mirror in place. There are usually two screws, one on the top and one on the bottom of the mirror. If you can't see the screws, look for small holes in the plastic housing around the mirror.
Remove the screws using the Phillips head screwdriver.
Gently pull the mirror away from the car. Be careful not to pull too hard, as you don't want to break the wires that connect the mirror to the car.
