How to Hang a Large Wall Mirror

Step 1: Determine the Placement

Before you start hanging your mirror, it's important to determine the exact placement. Measure the mirror and then use a measuring tape or ruler to mark the location on the wall where you want the center of the mirror to be. Use a level to ensure that the mark is level.

Step 2: Mark the Hanging Points

Most mirrors have pre-drilled holes on the back for hanging. Use a pencil to mark the location of the holes on the wall, marking the center point and the top and bottom holes.

Step 3: Prepare the Wall

If you're hanging the mirror on drywall, you may need to use wall anchors to provide extra support. Wall anchors are small plastic or metal devices that are inserted into the wall and then screws are driven into them. This helps to distribute the weight of the mirror and prevent it from pulling out of the wall.

Step 4: Hang the Mirror
